Hi all,

Thanks everyone for your menu choices. The table is booked for 7.30pm in the downstairs room.

I expect those arriving early will meet in the pub up the road as we did last year. Can someone please remind us of the name of it for those who haven't been before?

I will have Santa's Sack ready for your gifts. Treacle hasn't been persuaded to dress up as Santa so I'm still looking for a volunteer...

As in previous years we will work out the bill slightly differently for the alcohol drinkers and softies. It is £16.96 for food + 10% service plus the extra for drinks. PLEASE BRING CASH!

See you all on Saturday.

I'm just a little disappointed I'm not going to be there to see verna dressed up as Santa!

however I think Hie in Vietnam is also a good place to be

We'll have far more fun without you - none of us wanted to see you anyway and we'd much rather be trekking through London in sleet, a bitter north wind and -5 degrees than faffing about on a beach somewhere in Asia.

(OK, I may be fibbing a little bit here, especially as the silk dress I'll be wearing definitely isn't designed for cold weather and I may have to wear it with thermal long johns - sexy!)
