Hahaha brilliant title, never heard of it on the radio, suprisingly

But in all honestly, can one say half of any of that is really "music"?
Most "artists" (if you can call them that) go into the studio for a day or two and record some awful vocals, while someone else presses a few buttons and makes them sound magical and puts a backing track behind them. No skill or music in there at all, and the worst bit. Once its finished it sounds awful, and then radios play them for 6 months straight saying its the best thing to exist on earth.

Real music, a band goes into the studio for a couple of months and records the hell out of their tracks theyve written until they get a perfect take all in one. Some bands do a few takes then mix and match to get a decent take. But the ones who do/did it properly keep playing it all until theyve got it dead right, and if someone makes a mistake, its back to square one.

Those guys deserve the chart positions. For one the music is much better, plus the effort that goes into making it is much more than people realise. And these people on x factor or whatever just make the music industry worse, theyre thrown headfirst into the music industry straight to the top. Where as real music, the bands have to fight and fight and go through so much effort to get anywhere.

Well thats my view on the music industry anyway.
Although consider me biased as i am/was in a couple of local bands and listen to a lot of rock which i consider real music. So i know a lot of bands stories and ive also experienced my own bands stories first hand.

Music is music siple as that, no matter what it is or how its produced. Even the bands that you mention record various bits on multi track recorders, and even then they faff around with it. Gone are the days when it was 1 band, 1 take, the whole song. Its called progression i suppose. I like all sorts of music and appreciate it for what it is really. In the end everything starts sounding the same as poeple run out of ideas, and thats the problem. Most rock music nowadays is just knicked stuff from a lot of very old rock. There really isnt anything out there that is original nor inspiring. Nothing new has really leaped in the charts or late.

It must be very hard these days to com up with original new material. Im currently seeking out new genres of stuff, and at the moment, i have gone a bit classical and even flamenco!! Saying that scooter is currently playing on the laptop!

Im actually only 19 And i listen to a lot of the older styles of rock, my dads record collection is more or less a basis of what i listen to, quite cool to sit down from time to time and give real music a listen on vinyl, i personally think it sounds so much better.
And yea i know some vocals of rock, well more metal, are like the cookie monster, but i rarely listen to that sorta stuff, i like it, not the singing much, but the rest i like, but its rarely listened to. Having said that a lot of vocals of rock are easy to follow.

Guilty i am though as everynow and again i do go and listen to a fair amount of stuff other than rock, bit of 80s techno or something. Quite like Pendulum aswell, so like everyone, ive got a few guilty pleasures on my iPod.
