Mate R+G

They'll save the bike in a off to an extent
Don't skimp with it! There about £80 (I think, at M&S or Ian Bells).

What style bike you running? Naked or faired

we used the GSXR600 08 crash bungs on the SV and just used a different bolt to the one that comes in the kit. Few reasons really, they are lighter and dont stick out so far and are cheaper. We usually cut ours down too so they are only just sticking out of the fairing. That way they are less likely to pull back on the bolt in a crash or dig into the grass.

Not without fairings on but there is one here where you can see the bung just sitting flush with the fairing:

That does look effective.

I'm guessing its just enough to save the fairing.
I do like that paint job!

Thanks, yes its just enough but like anything it does depend on how big a crash you have as to how effective they are. They certainly dont need to stick out as much as the SV fitment ones do.
