Hi All,
I am new to the forum and new to biking, I am getting a nice SV650K6 in Red the weekend, and I have been looking at doing some subtle mods, So far I am getting a rear hugger as it don't have one, next I want to change the stock orange lens for the indicators to clear ones, I have looked on ebay and can't find any for a K6 can any one recommend any where. Welcome to the forum, I think later SV's came with clear indicator lenses as standard so you should be able to find a set or replace them with smaller ones.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Clear-indicato...item45f3e4fe05 One of the biggest grin factor mods on mine is the exhaust, even though I have had to fit a quiet-ish one it still lets the V twin sing... Last edited by Stonesie; 12-11-10 at 06:58 PM. |

Cool thanks for that, I found them as well now after trying multiple searches, so I think I get them changed and the rear huger done for next week, and then take it out for a couple of spins and then more moding

You might also want to consider mirror spacers. I got some from http://www.chewys-stuff.co.uk/ (K3> SV mirror spacers) and they really do improve your view of what is going on behind. Money well spent IMHO

Check out
http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/Pr...n-sv650-parts/ However, I've got mixed feelings towards crash bungs! Good I recently had a low speed slide along the road and the R&G crash bungs and exhaust protector prevented serious damage (engine casings, etc.) and saved the lower fairings. Bad They aren't perfect as they didn't stop the bike becoming a cat D write off due to mainly cosmetic damage (scratched exhaust tip, brake lever, bar end, headlight. Smashed top fairing and bent rear brake pedal.) |

Welcome dude.
If it aint got a fenda extenda, I'd get one of them , helps keep road sh1te of the engine and bits, but also protects the front plug from water and muck. Well worth it IMO. Enjoy the bike dude ![]() |

This probably a stupid question but I am going to ask how easy is it to fit the front Fenda Extenda? Also thanks for all the help, I am going to get some bits, I will upload pic's as I am going along.
