Don't know, Pro FST is only added as 1-2% in the tank although I don't what's in it (maybe someone can have a look on the back of the bottle).

I'd say 1% of IPA would let you know as it will inhibit freezing of water, but at what levels (if any) of IPA you start to see changes in running I've no idea.

I'd be tempted to get some FST instead, figure out if it's Icing then play with adding IPA. Determine the cause first then try alternate solutions.

Yeah they don't work.

Carb icing will not happen on start up anyway, only when you have been going a while

Yeah 100:1 is fine. Not sure, I wouldn't want to try run it at 50/50 or something daft like that but if you end up mixing 100ml to say 7l of juice I doubt it would cause any bother.

I would say anything up to 5% shouldn't cause any problems, but obviously from the point of view of cost the less you can get away with the better.

1% might be a bit mean to achieve any significant effect. Try it and see.

Found this useful (?) carb-icing probability chart , it might help you decide if carb icing is likely to be a problem.
