Default Hello

Hi All,

Just registered so thought I would introduce myself. 33yo male new biker!

Bought my bike about three weeks ago - a 2001 naked SV650. I love it.

It's my first bike and will be mainly looking to use on the weekends until the weather warms up a bit. Live in the middle of sunny Birmingham and don't have many mates with bikes so if anyone fances a ride out at any stage feel free to let me know! Have been out a few times on my own but seem to end up on boring straight roads so could do with a few pointers!

Welcome mate, another fellow brummie here

As Tom said, once the milder weather arrives there should be plenty of rides and opportunities to meet fellow bikers.

I literally had no mates with bikes when I passed two years ago, got loads now !!
Take it easy, don't try and do too much too soon is my advice, also say hi in the madlanders section towards the bottom as that's where any rides etc will be announced.

There is a camping / biking weekend at the end of April in Shropshire if you fancy it, good place to meet people.
