Default Clipons on a hornet

Evening all, been watching a program about cafe racers all day and its made me want to do a little bit of tweaking to me little hornet. Does anyone know what the forks are off? I think i fancy putting some clipons on and making a modern cafe racer without the oil leaks.

yeah i thought maybe an older cbr would have some because naked bikes normally get the bits from the older model sportsbikes.. I wonder if CBR wheels fit a hornet.

They have adjusters on the top but i'm not sure if its just preload. Been ages since I looked at the bike (tis under a duvet in the shed)

600RR and Hornet both have 41mm forks

and they got preload and rebound damping

Cheers for that.
It's a very dangerous thing a rainy sunday with an internet connection and a full day of motorbike modifying tv.

My wishlist by the end included braking wheels with wavy discs, full race system, power commander 5, dyno tune and suspension work. Just looking at the bike now though I can't see if clipons will fit because of the light.

Was it that show called "cafe racer" you were watching on Discovery? I just caught one episode and it's now on series record, looks like they're airing all the series through until early hours...
The show follows some different bike shops taking old junk bikes and restoring and modifying them...
Do you have a garage? Just get a cheap old bike and make a proper project of it, there's plenty of old big V-twins going cheap
