If you're referring to earthquakes. More specifically, the one in Japan, then it's entirely possible we could have had tremors here. I remember studying this in school. Shockwaves from the earthquake can pass through the Earth's mantle and can give a small tremor round another side of the planet to where the original quake took place.
They apparantly "bounce" around the mantle, bit like throwing a bouncy ball randomly in a small room, it will keep going until it stops, but looses a lot of energy in the process. |

Yes I'm sure I felt something. My galileo thermometer was shaking too which would suggest something happened. It's not unheard of for a big lorry to shake my flat but it was in the early hours and I didn't hear one pass.

sorry the all you can eat superhot curry night and 20 pints on Wednesday moved with explosive effect last night
![]() The kebab on thursday didn't help. At least you can't smell it, sewage works smell nicer than my bathroom 16 hours later
