Offroad helmets have smaller openings on the front these days, nose and face protection on the top part of the chin guard sit against the goggles and stop crap like this happening.

Statistically....

It's still safer offroad riding than road riding.

ouchy for the off roader and double ouchy for the pc. I cant believe that some people are complaining about the graphic nature of the picture in Petes link. Well when i think again, i can fully understand in these times where some are only happy when they moan ffs. I hope he got his full sight back.

Man it's a good thing he wasn't with me, I would have problably been there for ages with lines like:

You want me to get the truck, sure, STICK AROUND, I'll go get it.
I can't get the van here, you better GET TO THE CHOPPER!! etc etc...
