Any of those would be a good choice. Which set suits your budget best ?

Dont know, Last time I bought a pair of Z6's for my SV they were £165 fitted, but I think the prices have gone up now, so its probably more pennies.

Best thing you can do is ring round the garages local to you and get some prices.

If you're only doing 2k miles all year, its not going to make a big difference between any of those - they're all rated highly here because of the people that do a fair few miles, and those are the ones that successfully match good grip with long life. The Road Attacks are made by Continental, I believe.

Unfortunately, its one of those things that comes down to rider preference.

I find the round black ones are the best. I tried some square ones but couldn't get on with them.

Colin, I recently paid about £180 - £200 for a pair of BT021's.

Which of those would go with the Dunlop D220 (on the front) that comes as standard on the SV.

I ask as my front has only done about 3.5k since being fitted, and as I will be having a service, MOT (and Tax) and new back tyre all at the same time, I can't justify changing a tyre that doesn't need changing.

you might want to add the Dunlop RoadSmart to that list, had a rear fitted after a puncture and it's night and day in terms of feel/grip - to put it another way, within a week of winter riding i'd got as close to the edge of the RoadSmart as i'd done on the D220, which i'd ridden all summer...

once the bike starts getting more use in spring i expect i'll replace the front for the same
