Default Is choke not fully off?

hi hoping someone can help, i have a 2001 curvy and noticed that when going along about 20mph its abit jerky. This has only started recently. not sure if choke is'nt fully off or it needs abit of tuning with?

Couple of possible problems, choke is one of them. Throttle valves being out of balance wouldn't help either.

Not like that, plungers seize/stick in carbs. Take them out, clean and lube.

i had all them out not that long ago and i greased them all then. As soon as i touch the choke the revs pick up and i thought there should be some free play

Yeah, maybe you don't have cable seated right in splitter?

If everything is seated right then there is a bit of adjustment in the cable, just under the lever, hexagonal bit.

ok i'll have a look tommorrow, i do need them carbs balanced aswell so that will hopefully help. Thanks for your help.
