Default Melted boot on exhaust.

...boot heel. When I shift my toes on the peg, it touches the exhaust. Got almost a one inch deep scar on the back of my brand new boots! Anyone else find this a problem? Any solutions other than buy a bigger bike?

I have the same thing.
Either modify your heel plates so they reach further back, weld a plate onto the link pipe that is raised away from the surface (mine came with one that creates an air gap between of about 5mm), or maybe some exhaust wrap round the link pipe?

What exhaust you got, either that or you have massive feet, i'm a 12 and dnt have that prob.

Could always get one of those protector jobbies to go over the pipe.

Did you change cans in the end? Asbestos wrapped boots?
