I'm sure its a different fitment.

Blackshadow discs always seem to get a good write up and not stupidly expensive

Cheers buddy. Yeah I've got them on e-bay now but i think there's a 10 or 20 mm difference in disc diameter. The SV1000 being bigger. I may be wrong but I'm not sure... If you or anyone does want them there's 3 days left with plenty of watchers. No offers have been made yet but if any orgers want it make me an offer of about £360 and you can have it.

*whether the pads are any good or not is another matter.

I've heard Armstrong do good discs. Not had personal experience, so can't add to that, but they're on ebay too for the 1000.

i have the blackshadow ones on my bike. they are ok but don't have the bite of OEM but also don't rust like the OEM. i paired them up with EBC HH pads and i like the feel of the combination as its very progressive and they look pure porn i've only done about 1k with them but i have no complaints what so ever and for the price they are ace.

I've had two sets in recent miles - would stick to black shadow for now personally

Black shadow don't seem to list front disks for a Pointy, only 99-02 but they do list rear disks for pointys 03-09. Anyone have Pointy front disks from them?
