SV650s in demand?

I'm sadly considering selling my k9 10 plate sv due to lack of use. Is there a demand for second hand sv's. It's totally standard and recently gone through first proper service.

As Dave says... price is your big issue... with lots of new or nearly new bikes around, prices for nearly new are generally rock bottom.

I'll give you £2k for it to save you any hassle.

pretty sure its worth a lil more than 2k, but thanks good about demand now just gotta decide if can bare seeling it or keeping for (non) rainy days so to speak

Depends if you're pricing it to sell or if your just putting it out there to see if there are any takers. If you wanted it to sell then just under 3k would be about my guess - the closer to 2.5k you go, the quicker it sells.

Or if the price has to be right and a sale isnt essential then I'd consider popping it up for 3.5k Dealer wont give you much over 3 (if at all) for it at trade in.

NB: eBay currently has over 200 Sv's for sale - the SV definetly fits within the buyers market catagory.

Atm im looking for a 2007+ SV. However the demand is great especially for me i check everyday as i wanted to have a bike before my Birthday on the 19th. Although with demand comes risk; i tried to go see a bike on the weekend and then later found out it was never real and the Ebay listing was false. Another one had knocking noises from front end which is a big no no in buying a new bike and the rest of them are so over priced that people constantly re-list them and get no interest. Just an ongoing battle...

I'd be looking for good price, no need to sell, just silly keeping when I don't get much chance to use will mull it over, cheers for input tho guys

Check out MCN. They have 4off. 2010 bikes on there for just over £4k.

There is a dealer offering brand new sv650's for£4299 on pistonheads, doesn't say how many though.....
