I want to know this too, obviously an x-ring chain is the best and the chain on now is a DID, don't know if that is standard or what? Will get the smaller 14t front sprocket as well.
actually just seen this....

For road use a DID X Ring gold is about as good as it gets, don't get the posh Renthal alloy rear sprocket cuz they don't last as long as a steel sprocket and you end up replacing rear sprocket before chain or front sprocket have worn !!, B C Express are very competitive with their prices and you can specify a steel rear sprocket. I've got a K3 Naked with the lower ( more acceleration) gearing as standard, still good for an indicated 120 mph ( on a private road officer ).

"Obviously" an X ring chain is best... Er, why? Is it the gold plating that adds 20bhp?

I like tsubaki chains, but DID are ok as are a couple of other makes. IMO buy the best grade of chain you can and it will last, don't worry about what ring shape they use. I like tsubaki's "sigma" grade chain which is their top grade. I've had near 40k out of one of those.

For rear, whatever is cheap. EBC GG ones are ok, I wouldn't bother with sintered.
