Default Finding neutral when cold.

Latley im finding it really hard / impossible to put the bike into neutral when the engine is cold.

Can Anyone shed any light.

its a 2000 curvy with around 35000 on the clock. recently had oil change too.

Double check the oil level.
Check the chain tension.
Also worth checking the clutch adjustment - see Sid Squid's many posts on the subject.

EDIT: I just noticed you said it happens when the bike's cold. Makes me suspect the clutch adjustment even more - a dragging clutch tends to ease off as the oil warms up. Check the other two as well, for all the time it takes.

Mine's fine 99% of the time unless the clutch adjuster has rattled in too far. For me, oil level doesn't affect it but yes chain tension does, dunno why, but tighter is betetr it seems.
