Default Digital speedo-DB01r

Im currently sourcing all the bits for a fork conversion. I am almost ready to do the swap yay. At the same time as the swap i am also going to put a ktm duke fairing with projectors on the bike (99 curvy naked). The problem i have is that the original clocks are quite big and offset. Therefore im worried that the ktm fairing will be to far forward. Ive found this digital speedometer:

Has anyone had any experience with these? Can you input the current mileage of the bike?
It makes sense because its cheap, small and comes with a pickup for the speedo (which i still need).
Whats the verdict guys?
