Experian HPI checks

I have a number of Experian HPI checks available.

It's the first time I've used them I normally use the cheapo ones. They provide MUCH more information (for example; outstanding finance, dates of owner changes [very useful for identifying problem bikes that change hands rapidly], colour changes, etc).

I'm looking at a new bike tomorrow or Tuesday. It was on finance but was paid off on Friday. Any idea how quickly experian will have updated their records?

If it's quick then I'll have one of the checks off you. I just don't want to waste time and money checking the bike if it shows HPI that has been cleared but just not updated.

TBH I dont know how quickly they update their records, have a look on their website: autocheck.co.uk

Whatever you decide to do be very careful regarding outstanding finance. Be sure to check, do not take their word for it. A mate of mine recently part-swapped his Mille for an audi, and 4 weeks later got a letter from a finance company telling him how much debt he'd unexpectantly inherited.

Always do a quality hpi check, even from dealers
