Default Off Road School

Whilst in Wales last week I did a day with Yamaha Off Road Experience. It was awesome. 10,000 acres of woodland, meadows and stony hills to ride.

My daughter is 14 and wanted to try off roading. As it was a bit of a way it turned in to a week camping in mid Wales. 6 of us did the school ranging from my daughter, someone who road a couple of times as a kid, a 68 year old who last sat on a bike in 1984 to a motorcycle instructor. Everyone had a excellent day and learnt loads.

The school is well run and so friendly. Bikes are all virtually new and they'll split you in to as many gorups as needed to keep you working hard but still comfortable. Everyone was exhausted by the end of it but the smiles were beaming.

Thoroughly recommend a day out with them. The owner was a 8 times National champion or something but all the instructors teach from beginners to club racers.

Do it, you'll love it I'm sure.

It's in the middle of nowhere. They did say the day we went out (last Wednesday) was the first day this year they didn't have to wear waterproofs so be prepared for a bit of wet!

If there were some green lanes round here I think I'd sell the ZX and get me a 250
