Hey guys, having a bit of an issue. As some will know im new to riding and probably do have a tighter grip than required when riding.
However it is only my little finger on my left hand which gets painful particularly after riding (and stays sore for days) but also during riding. Any help would be great. |

start with trying to take the weight off your hands and wrists, grip with the legs and try to keep your back stright this may help.
and as its the left, if you find that it might be due to movement when use the clutch try resting the finger on the lever, i use to get this but my gloves hold the last 2 fingers together so the little finger just gets dragged around. |

Also consider adjusting the levers angle so you can grab them in a natural position without twisting the wrist. It will go away with time as you will relax and loosen you grip and body position on the bike.

I had a painful thumb on my left hand after riding for about the first month - it went away. I put it down to muscles growing where they weren't any before!

it's probably a tensing issue, however, try the other suggestions as well, also try a different pair of gloves, I had a pair some time back that were slightly tight on my left little finger, not enough to notice straight away and it ached after a hour or so, it could be tight or a seam pressing, but worth a try anyway.
Cheers Mark.

Buy some Tech-Spec tank grips. Grip with your knees and take the weight off your wrists.
