Default Backfire on starting

Very occasionally my SV backfires on start up, has no ill affects just wondered what may cause it, it is dyno-jetted, K&N air filter and has and aftermarket exhaust. Doesn't do it all the time tho, more so in winter when choke gets used more.

Condensation. Collects down the end can? Winter, more moisture around?

Sticky choke plunger causing a huge difference in furling between cylinders can be another one, if u hav never serviced ur chokes it could be an afternoon well spent, transforms a bike for winter riding, make sure u run oil down the inside of the choke cables too or if u take the cables right off bathe them in a basin of oil overnight!

Thanks guys, is only very occasionally, choke is fine moves freely, all my cables get oiled regularly. I'd say it does it maybe once every couple of weeks in summer maybe once or twice a week in summer.

condensation

It has rained recently, and its been lower in temperature. Bit of rain down the end spout......if your bike is stored outside.........etc etc

Well it did it when I was leaving work yesterday and my bike is stored outside but it has not rained for 7-8 days now, I use it on a 30 mile round trip daily so if it hasn't rained there's no chance for condensation to get down there.
