Default Opinions on Bike Cover Choice

Afternoon

I was about to buy the Oxford Stormex cover today as I wont be able to ride my bike for fair few months soon and my current cover is just a cheap one, when i thought to ask a friend if they can get it through the trade.

He cant get me the stormex but I can get the oxford rainex almost half price and the pic shows the deluxe one i beleive, so should i pay out and get the stormex which looks a much better cover or just get the rainex.lol

Appreciate any feedback from people who have used either of these covers.

Cheers
Fletch

Hi, i have an oxford cover (cant remember which one but cost about £40.00) and i would buy ----- the R&G one!

My Oxford is not waterproof, bike is wet after rain and actually have a cheap halfords car cover under mine to keep the bike dry!

Neighbour's Bike has R&G cover and his stays dry

Cheers for the feedback, just looked at R&G one looks alright actually and price is good.

Does this have slots for chain to go through can't see on my phone as liked the idea to stop my cover getting pinched as read alot of people saying had their stormex ones stolen.

My ride lives outside and is under a Rainex. Stays dry and no condensation in summer. The only downside is the one clip under the belly is pretty rubbish. I wrap a strap around the seat area and underneath and its great. No problems. I'd recommend it to anyone and it has slots front and back for chain.
