Question Pls identify my air filter (k3)

I was replacing my air filter for a standard paper job but, on taking out the old one, I found it to be a flat sponge, mounted 'full-frame' inside a flexible 'rubber' frame. Looks like the frame creates an air-tight seal when the air box is closed. Obviously it's not OEM so what is it? And can/should I swap it out for the new paper one?

Salient bike specs are: secondhand K3; Fuel exhaust can with baffles; don't know if its been re-mapped; MPG 55 (urban), 65 (long runs).

It's looks like your photo and the sponge is a uniform grey. If it's a Pipercross one then I can clean and re-use. Anyone know the best way to clean it?

All air filters for the K series, AFAIK, all have this rubber seal that seperates the top of the air box and the bottom.
Any chance you can upload a picture of it, or google something that it looks most like?

I'm pretty sure it's the Pipercross, or one that's identical to it. I'll be getting some cleaning fluid and dirt retention fluid.
