Luggage Rack for 03, Givi box? - SV650.org

Does anyone know of a way to fit a givi top box? I bought the box for my old CB500 but now i have an SV650 (03) i need a new luggage rack but am loathe to pay £96 for one new. Are there any other manufacturers that make similar racks which would fit?

tried moding the cb one. If that's a no go I'd fit the base to sports rack .
They do cheap ones of those.

the problem is getting enough support on the box from the bracket. Thats why the SV variant has arms that attach onto the pillion foot pegs and also onto the grab rail.

Have looked at the renntec rack but not sure if t is wide enough to take a GIVI box, has anyone else used a similar rack?

The rentec sports rack is perfect for the job, used one on my 03 650 and same one on my 04 1000 then sold it on to someone on here for his 05/06 650 I always used a givi maxia on it with givi plate, no issues with flexing etc and it was nearly always run with at least 10kgs in the box.

Thats good to know thanks, I contacted several retailers and they all say its not suitable due to the
Weight limit but its cheaper than the official givi rack
