Default Pointy rear end on a curvy?

Please dont shoot me

Pointy bits should never meet sexy curvy bits but....

Just an idea dose anyone know or ever fitted a pointy rear end to a curvy.

So rear subframe, plastics, undertray, rear light and both seats.

The only reason i ask this is that i like the pointy rear light and also think undertrays look 100 times better on a pointy then a curvy just because they fit better.

If its a straight swap then happy days but that would be way to easy lol

Edit
Just found this http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=158539&page=1 mabey its not such a good idea. Dose not look that nice. And there is a lot to do. As the curvy frame is wider then the pointy.

leebex has done this. Check out the 'botched frankenstein' thread in the photo section.

Hope this link works?

Mister C has got an 675 rear on Custard now

Are you talking plastics and subframes or swingers and hoops?

i would be very happy to stick the second one on my bike next week but if i did the girlfriend would kill me as she would no longer have a seat on the sv lol

but looking at twinshack i do like this http://www.twinshack.co.uk/prods/299.html as it says you still keep both seats.

i contacted twin shack about this and this is what they said

Thank you for your enquiry. I'm afraid the only other picture I have of this
product other than those on the web site is attached below. We get these
made to order by a company in France, and this part is something that has
been available for some time but that I have never ordered in for anyone
(most people go for the solo seat) so have never had a really good closeup
look at it I'm afraid.

However I think that the passenger pad either needs to be upholstered
yourself or you use race foam the same as the rider. The stock passenger pad
would be unlikely to fit.

not to sure about it after seeing the pic what do you lot think ?
