Just as there as been plenty of Insurance company bashing on here lately I thought I'd post up a reccomendation for Bikesure.
For me until this year Express (AXA underwritten) have without fail been much much lower than other companies. This year however I too recived an increased renual price of £475 *Basic* this is up from £350 the previous year. *Basic* refers to insuring just me on my bike only, fully comp, £300 excess. Thats on minimum miles, doesnt cover use of other bikes and also doesnt mention any of the mods or convictions. Bikesure on the other hand have just provided me a quote which includes all the recent mods to the bike; Wheels, Forks, Seat, Handlebars, Mirrors, Indy's, Exhaust and Rejet It also includes the use of other bikes, 90days abroad, £150 excess all for £325 for the year... A massive £150 saving despite the ridiculas inclusion of all mods no matter how small they've been. I just thought I'd repay their excellent quote with a recommendation on here. I hope you're all just as fortunate. |

Bikesure screwed me when I moved house to one without a garage, basically gave me 5 days notice of cancellation of the policy - was able to finally convince them to go TPO.
Now been told they will offer me on other cover than TPO So stuff em

When i got my bike i went with EBike. Very good policy and its all online (thats how they keep their prices low). I can go online and add/remove modifications as i want and i don't even incur an admin fee, only the extra cost for the modification if they deem it an upgrade.
Dreading my quote next year after my claim so will keep Bikesure in mind for it. |
