For my SV650s (L0) - is £180 reasonable?! Been quoted this by Steve Jordan's, and this is apparently based on about 2 hours work...

I would say so, SV650racer on here is Sarah (from Steve Jordans i believe) did you mention to them you are an org member?
I work for a Honda dealer and thats about what we charge for a 4k service, based on oil and filter change, stripping and cleaning brakes etc, im not sure how much the Suzuki 4k service differs though Last edited by Holdup; 13-08-10 at 07:00 PM. |

I paid £145 for my second service last summer in Southampton. The local Suzi dealer to me wanted £280+. Prices seem to vary widely, but £180 sounds ok to me.

Ok thanks - I may get on the phone to Sarah (who's lovely and patient and always answers my inane questions when I ring up!) and see if we get .org discounts!

Hi, I paid £117 a few months back at my local Suzuki dealer for a 4k service on a K6. Judging by my brakes I don't think they touched them though!

As if by magic! ![]() 2 hours labour is about right for a 4k service. We charge .org members £42.30 inc VAT per hour. It's most likely that you'll only need an oil & filter on the parts front. So reckon on a shade over £30 here. Cheers. |
