Default Dynamo - Magician Impossible

WTF - I'm easily impressed! Who saw it on TV last night and repeated tonight on Sky 109?

The moble in the bottle? Walking across the River Thames, the stuff with Stone Roses, I know its all a trick but.......bloody good don't you think.

(Better than Blaine, look it up I guess its on Youtube))

he is good, the series gets a little repetitive but each episode does have some new stuff.

I think some of it is planted and set up but there is a shed load I cant understand..

wait till he goes back to bradford to see his nan.. tis v funny

I love magic but cannot stand this guy - it all seems so fake - "oh look, here's my mate <insert name of celebrity> who happens to be drinking in this bar, let's have some fun"

I have to admit that street magic is not my favourite genre - I like the theatricality of illusions rather than the intricacy of close-up (even though I know that it's far more technical & harder to perform) but even his 'walking on water' didn't do it for me

That's part of the problem for me you see - in the past I worked with some very good magic acts (as stage &/or production manager) so I know the basic principles & how a lot of illusions are done.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to present myself as an authority & a lot of tricks still baffle me, but even with those I know I still enjoy the 'magic' if it's well presented, which IMO Dynamo's is not.

Saw this first time round and its his smaller stuff thats more impressive. The theames and R5 Window illusion are his biggest 2 from the series but tbh they let the show down.
For a proper mind feck wait until he takes a pussycat doll shopping, my mind melts at the thought of what he does
