Default Hello from an SV convert.

Hi, my name is Belinda and I've finally bought my first big bike after years of riding smaller trail bikes - most recently a 1980 Yamaha XT250 .

I was incredibly lucky to get an immaculate K3 SV650s Crescent from an aircraft engineer in Portsmouth, whose garage looked like Ikea, so - as you can see below - the bike is in amazing condition. (Hope I can work out how to post a pic!)

Have had to invest in all lowering equipment available, but can finally touch the ground , and am looking forward to being able to keep up with my boyfriend on his VTR Firestorm. Next year I'd like to get a better-sounding can on this, but for now I'm overwhelmed by the experience of having a bigger bike to ride, and want to take things slowly.

See you all around.

Hello & welcome

Don't worry about keeping up with you boyfriend as you'll pass him at the petrol station, because he'll be busy filling up all the time

Hi guys
LOL Maviczap - the first thing I bought was a lower seat. The second was a hand siphon to keep under the seat for when he needs to 'borrow' petrol from me!

hello & enjoy riding your SV. I only started to ride about 2 months ago (I've got an older model) and love it to bits. Never really thought the bike is to big.
Ps. really nice and clean looking bike
