Default 2-stroke crankshaft question

I have a crankshaft off a Honda Vision that was moving OK until I left it exposed to the elements (had the head off) for a few weeks and it got rusted.

I've stripped the engine and taken it out and can't get the big end to move, even after soaking it in 2-stroke oil.

Is it worth getting the big end re-pressed and then polishing the crud/rust off the crank (£20-25) or shelling out for a new crank (£80)?

If it has any corrosion on the crankpin or bearing it won't last long running even if you can get it to move.

I was hoping to get the bearing replaced, the rust is only surface rust and I'm fairly sure the reason it's stuck is a combination of the perished piston rings getting in there, plus some water/rust.

I'm right in thinking that to replace the big end bearing, they split it and re-press it right? So, will the rust on the journals do any damage or is it ok to just polish it up and re-use?

There's a place local to me that will fit a new big end bearing for around £20, so hoping to do that as a cheap option.
