No need to buy one. The wires should reach to the new position. My race bike ended up with all of the ECU, tilt switch etc in the nose cone and it reached the battery on the RHS of the front cylinder no problem.

I only had to extend two wires to one coil and all was well when I did it, my ECU is in nose and the reg rec is on front of frame, battery on RHS of front cylinder

Best place for the battery is under your bum..keeps weight central. You wouldnt voluntarily put 4kg (unless your running a lightweight battery) onto the right hand front of the bike!.
Ensure also the tilt switch is positioned correctly and upright and all the connections are water/rub tight. Have seen alot of really bodged race looms lately, no wonder some people have running issues. |

In answer to your question road race developments do one.
http://www.roadandracedevelopments.c...twin-Shop.html I cannot say how good it is as both my bikes are carbed and the harnesses i did myself. Following the diagram from Zoran on the TWF forum. I have moved the batteries on mine they sit by the right side cylinder still within lines of the frame. both my son and I have noticed no adverse handling differences, it just means we have reduced a lot of weight. and if the sub frame were to be ripped off it is a simple seat and frame replacement job all of the loom is protected within the confines of the frame. |
