Default just passed mod 2 , first impressions of a sv

Passed mod 2 at 2.30 , jumped about for a few mins then headed home , insured the k3 (£147 fully comp with 0 ncb well impressed) and headed out , bags of torque , not nearly as viby as i was expecting after reading threads on here , front brake feels ok but the rear well i use the term brake tounge in cheek , are they all really that poor or has mine siezed with sitting up for 7 weeks . The bikes been lowered but i have the original dog bones in the garage , what difference do they make apart from seat hight ? , im also getting a strange click from the front intermittently I can't decide if its stones hitting the belly pan or something serious , time will tell. All in all massive fun and it puts a daft grin on my face , love it .

good stuff and well done on the pass.
as for the rear brake i find you have to put a fair amount or pressure on to get it to have any affect on braking but i have'nt replaced my rear brake pads or disc since i got the bike 2 years ago so that my be the case for me so check the pads and disc if its good then like i said just apply more pressure until your comfortable its working with the affect you want it to.

- i don't use my rear brake much as im lazy front brake is all i need

Not old just mature , i've put off getting a bike licence for 28 years , you do the maths . The last suzuki I tried was a new 250cc x7 (obviously on a private road to stay legal )

So you have a 9 year old and find the rear brake inefficient. Your old enough to put two and two together.

Give it an overhaul. The pistons stick, old rubber pipe swells, brake fluid deteriorates. and the pads could be contaminated.

BTW, what kept you. Welcome to the rest of your life.
