Default Hi there!

Evening all! Just thought I'd give a quick introduction before commencing with the stoopid questions.

Started riding in 2007, then started trackdays in 2009 and now I'm hoping to move on to racing this year with minitwins with Wirral 100 club.

Don't currently own an SV but I have a feeling that I will do shortly as I've got my eye on a couple of race bikes.

Hi and welcome.

I raced my first season last year and had lots of fun so if you need any help just ask. I can't guarantee it'll all be useful but some of it might be.

If you're interested in a decent race bike a friend of mine has one for sale. Its an injected engine in a curvy frame and comes with everything you need including stands, tyre warmers, transponder, wets on wheels, spare engine, levers and loads of other little bits.

It has a few scars but nothing serious.

Can put you in touch if you're interested.

Cheers.

Good luck with the new bike

Had a great year and really enjoyed myself. Made some great friends and felt like every month I was spending the weekend with my best friends.

Learnt a lot, made mistakes, fell off a few times, got back on, won some tropies. Pretty much all you could hope for.

What I'd say is take notes about tyre pressures and gearing ( I didn't and i wish I had), ask questions and that includes the stupid ones but most of all have fun. Everyone there is there for the same reason and they'll pretty much all help you out as next time round it might be them needing levers, rearsets, jubilee clips, nuts bolts, shelter from the rain and coffee....

Who are you racing with? If its NGRCC, come say hello I'll be on #28 again if not good luck and again, if you've got questions I'll answer them if I can and if not i'll point you in the direction of more knowledge.

Cheers guys. It looks like brand new, everything's pretty much spotless on it.

Just can't wait to ride it now!
