Default Fairings Question

Minitwin related I think so that why Im posting this here. If its in the wrong section I apologise and could you please move it to the correct section

Hundreds of threads all over the www about GSXR fairings on an SV but none of them seem to answer the following:

Which model GSXR fairing fits best on a pointy?

Which model GSXR fairing is the narrowest?

Has anyone fitted a GSXR or other race tail on the aluminium subframe for the "Fireblade" seat unit?

Thanks everyone

Default Re: Fairings Question

GSXR600K7 fit the best (does vary though depending on how has made the fairings). We used to cut a 1 inch section out of the belly pan base and then fibreglass back together so the ground clearance is better and the fairing sits tighter at the base.

Ive not tried a GSXR seat on a blade subframe but dont see why it wouldnt fit. The new GSXR600 L1 seats are very narrow.
