Default Speedo/Clock problem

Hello, I have an SV650 K2 Curvy and am having problems!

When I was riding along a few months ago the clocks started to reset them selves (as if i was turning the ignition on and off). This happened a few times before the 'power cuts' started becoming more frequent and for longer.

I am now at a point where the clocks no longer work, the speedo doesnt read my speed, the revs do not move off zero and the mileage isnt displayed on the digi screen. The indicator lights/neutral light/oil light do work but nothing else.

I have had a good poke behind the clocks and around the loom but found nothing obvious, I was hoping for a loose connection but nothing is obvious. I have now removed the clocks completely and stripped down to the circut board to see if it looked fried, all would appear ok.

Does anyone know if this is a common problem with clocks just giving up at 32k miles? No sign of damp or anything inside the clocks so I really dont know where to look next. I don't want to spend ££ on new clocks if it is possibly something to do with the loom.

Any ideas? Please!

The live into the clocks is suspect, could be at the clock end, could be at the supply end.

I've had a look at a wiring diagram and it looks like the supply is fed from the ecu? Please correct if I am wrong as reading wiring diagrams isnt my strongest skill.
