Diesel in Plastic petrol jerry cans?
Is it ok to put diesel in plastic designed for petrol jerry cans?

Since petrol is a far better organic solvent than diesel, and diesel has a much lower vapour pressure, I would have thought so.

Paraffin is sold in much lighter-weight plastic containers, so you should be OK.

Tesco didn't have any so I bought a warning triangle in order to get over £40 and get 6 quid off, next time....
