walking back through bullring car park and see a guy with his girlfriend and a flat tyre. The spare/space saver one is out, so is a tiny scissor jack and the boot panels etc.
me and my girlfriend walk past and back to the bike. she says "i dont think he knows what he's doing" then a minute later says "he is now swinging the jack around and starting to put it all away" so i walk over and ask if he needs a hand. he had ZERO idea how to even begin changing a tyre/wheel. he was genuinly amazed that someone could do this without a workshop, mechanical equipment and tools that an F1 team would use. this needs to be on the driving test ASAP |

Definately!
I keep trying to show the misses but she's having none of it, particularly with the littl'un on the way I just have a vision of her getting dreaded somewhere with the baby waiting three hours for the AA to rock up. Don't get me wrong she ain't stupid but doing it the first time in the dark somewhere can't be much fun for the sake of half an hours preparation now. |
