Default No clock illumination on 2000 curvy.

I picked up my bike last night from my mates garage to take it home and only just noticed that i have no illumination in the clocks.

All dashboard indicator lights work, headlights, indys etc, just the clock illumination.

Could ALL the illumination bulbs have gone or is there a fuse in the fuse box that could explain this?

Cheers

Chris

Wiring diagram online looks like a Grey wire could be the culprit in the main clock harness, will investigate tonight.
If that's ok then its the bulbs I reckon

had the same on my 2000 model and it was bulbs got ten bulbs from ebay they are T4 bulbs , only one bulb had blown so they must be on a curcuit of there own ony cost a couple o quid , you have to take the back of the clocks and take the curcuit board out to get at the bulbs which are a push in fit

I wouldn't rule out bulbs - normally nothing gets done until the last of them has failed - Occam's razor.

If a fuse had popped some other stuff wouldn't work as well.

Cheers guys, I've got a spare set of clocks, will plug them in and see if they light up and swap the bulbs over. Shame I couldn't leave them on if they light up but they would have the wrong mileage

All three bulbs had blown, managed to replace one with a spare that I had in another set of clocks but need more

Are these the right bulbs I need?
