Ok so I'm still only in 2nd year at uni but i'm doing my CV and thought it would be good to put some of the work I've been doing up so people can view it. decided best way was to put a web address on the CV and then create a public album on photobucket for it all
Just wondering if this is the best way to do it and whether you can see the albums and their contents... any comments welcome! http://photobucket.com/tomsmithCAD |

Why not attach some pictures at the end of your CV because I'm pretty sure many employers wouldn't bother heading online before sifting your CV in/out.

To be honest Raving is right, they're unlikely to look at anything but the first page of the CV when it comes to the initial paper sift.
It wouldnt hurt to have a web link at the bottom but you want examples of your work right there too. |

if sending out your CV by snail mail I agree with the above, but i'd put the pics on a disc and include - some companies are funny about internet usage and may just have photobucket blocked?? Personally if your prospective line of work was mine, I would make up a presentation (like power point) for emailing your CV, give it some flare - make it stand out

Make sure your social media sites are PRIVATE.
If you are like me, I would not want my employer seeing what is on my facebook!! |

question is what would you like to do?
i would attach a cd if posting and you feel it is relevant! wed links are a no go really. |

i think the problem is i'm not really sure i know what i wanna do in terms of work. Appreciate the comments though, had always been told CV at my age (20) should be just a single page and a covering letter to any employers. It sounds like mailing them in CD format or as a short appendix is probably going to be the best option then, powerpoint is a good plan too!
