Default Royal London Hospital Whitechapel

Guys

Do you know if there are any car parking options round there in the evenings?

My daughter is going in Monday for an op, she will be in for 4-5 days.

My ex is going to be taking her in, and her mum is staying there with our daughter overnight so my ex can sort our son out, but I want to visit after work where I can.

I work inbetween Barnet and Potters Bar, so unsure if I can drive in and park up or if its better to get myself in via Tube?

you can actually park inside with a bike easy enough Hong, never been there before with a car so can't help with that one though.

Thanks Mark. I thought about biking it - so there is actual bike parking there? I noticed they said they have no public car parking. Only issue is most days I have to take the car in, but maybe I can work something out.

This is all assuming I am even allowed to visit, no idea what they are like on visiting times etc. Just want to figure out my options.

not sure, but there is a sort of middle quadrant bit and you can park a bike there, my brother goes in quiet regularly and I've never had a problem sticking the bike in there.

Car parks are lacking in that area, there are several cars parks in Shoreditch NCP ect, not sure what the cost is though it was orginased for us.

If your there say after 6pm, maybe or later I do know that in Stepny, the residents parking ends around that time you should be able to find somewhere to park, then from there to the hospital isn't far. However the traffic may be a bit nuts, as there is road works on the A13 heading into town around that area. If you want I can suggest some streets to park in, but one there may not be spaces (there usually is) and also be aware the area isn't great, don't leave anything in the car! My mate found a brick, in place of a window a few months back.

Park on a red line (not the double red lines) after 7pm

there are some bike parking bays just off the main road the hospital is on but a bit further down. From memory there is also a sainsburys around the corner so you may be able to park the car in there

I study at the Royal London so:
For bike parking: there is a dental institute building with parking. The car park has two barriers but if you go to the side of the A&E (Stepney Way i think), there is a gap between the barrier which you can ride through. this is where i park my scooter. There is a designated bike bay in there, which is sheltered, as soon as you go in its on the right.

For car parking: if you're going after around 5.30 then there is parking around the rear of the hospital. If you go down new road then turn left onto turner street, this is the rear of the hospital and there are car parking bays around here. but i rarely see spaces available when im traveling between lectures and the hospital and traffic wardens are always swarming around.

HTH and any more info shoot me a message.
