Default PR3 to Dunlop qualifier, what to expect?

Morning all,
Due to a trilogy of punctures (I took it in with a slow puncture which had turned into a quick one just that morning) and he found 3 bits of metal going through my tyre, one was a nail which had gone straight through!

I've now got a new rear tyre, the only one he had in stock in the right size was a dunlop qualifier. What should I expect it to be like compared to the PR3? I'm assuming faster wearing and stickier in the dry and worse in the wet but I'd like some informed opinions rather than my speculation.

Thanks

Are you aware that Michelin allow repairs to their motorcycle tyres as long as the hole is in the centre part of the tread and there is a certain amount of tread remaining?

Not sure if there's a limit to the number of repairs per tyre....

I'd have happily gone with a repair but given that there were 3 holes and perhaps only 2000 miles left on the tyre (1/5th or 1/6th of its life left) wasn't enough to justify trying to fix the 3 holes in one go.

Thanks for the reply though

I've had them on my triple (different I know) and I'm on my second set.

They seem to be a love/hate tyre (at least on the ST forum...read into that what you will) I've had no real issues with them, good enough in the wet and fun in the dry.

Wear rate, they don't last all that long (I think I got ~ 6/7k out the front, rear I think about 4k...1st was a puncture and I didn't check the milage of the replacement) but aren't super sticky so should be more reasonable on the SV.

In the wet: I've not had any issues either, but then I tend to ride the bike more upright when the roads are wet. The tread stops short of the edge of the carcass so it may be the issue others have reported.
