I hate being based in an Olympic venue, getting searched to get into my own office, not being allowed to bring in any drinks for my lunch, or receive any post for 3 weeks. Bunch of numpties on the gates made me take my watch off this morning as it is considered a threat and has to be scanned.

But on the upside, this from the traffic info site:
Motorcyclists

Motorcyclists will be permitted to use some of the nearside Games Lanes that are shared use with bus lanes during the Games. Permission to use Games Lanes will be indicated using signage.

finally, someone else who believes the olympics are stupid, i know it will help our economy and stuff with tourism but they have spent so much on it, i couldnt get into weymouth for ages due to making new roads(which turned out to be good fun) i think they've gone way over the top with it, most of the stuff were being out-done in anyway

Its a bit of a nighmare over in East London right now, the roads are gridlocked in some parts, I really wouldn't go over there unless you really have to.

So what could you do that will get you refused admittance by the numptys, so that you can go and enjoy the sunshine? It would have to be something that won't get you arrested. How about turning up for work tomorrow in a burqa, carrying a big, ticking alarm clock in your bag?

You should try working at airports, they are being really pedantic.
Chap arrived with 20,000 litres of jet fuel, they searched his cab and took his bottle of water off him.

The issue is that many of the people that have been hired, have no experince of working in security, so what do you expect to happen?
