Default The Hannibal Trail 2012

As some of you may already be aware, on the 2nd September 2012 I will be leaving Plymouth with my bike, a tent and some stuff for Spain. I will be travelling from Cartegena to Rome taking a route similar to that taken by Hannibal Barca and his army in 218BCE. Please follow my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/thehannibaltrail2012 for updates and info.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this post. There is a link in my signature box. Comments and advice are welcome.

Hope it goes well.

Sadly I will not be on an elephant, but I do have a small one that will fit comfortably in my pocket.

Had a nice chat with someone from the Royal British Legion today so I'll be helping to raise their profile just as they will hopefully raise mine...

Lovely jubbly.

I have travel insurance for 31 days so it can't take more than a month. I do have a plan B in mind just in case things go pear shaped but hopefully I should be heading back across the Channel by the end of September.

Thankyou mystery mod for correcting my spooling mistonk. I will now be flying the flag for the Royal British legion...which is nice. They'll be visiting me next week for a chat and to sort out the T-shirts etc. They'll probably want to know what I'm doing as well I imagine.

Got over thirty likes on the page now which means I get a graph thingy to analyse who is looking at the page and talking about it etc...it's a bit big brotherish...
