Default Where to buy SV paint?

Hi guys,

I have decided to change the colour of my naked SV650 curvy from blue to black as It was a cat C with damage to the bodywork and tank.

I have sourced a tank and tail section in black but not the front mudguard.
so I have decided to repaint it

I know the paint code for black is Y7L but not too sure where to get the paint from?
I would like to do it on a budget as the bike is really just going to be for commuting so not that worried if the colours are not exact.

Do Halfords do a car colour that is close enough? as I only want to do it using cans.

Or do they have a paint mixing machine that can match the original paint work?

Thanks.

I think visiting halfords with a part with the colour your looking for might be a good start tbh ...................

halfords have the colours on a computer and can mix colours for you.

Seen as it doesnt meet any other parts could you not just get a metallic black like panther black for a ford?

You planning to do it yourself?

Speak to a sprayer as its pearl paint which is a bit of a sod to do
