Default Hardest Task - Untangling a slinky

Been at it for nearly half an hour so-far and it's getting worse.
If ever you are presented with a tangled slinky by a tearful child, just take it in the garden and bury it! (Slinky, not tearful child)

Slinky Lives !!!

I can only assume Mr.Preston that you've never been faced with a fully tangled slinky else you'd know better than to belittle the effort involved. It's a bit like trying to reconstitute a plate of vomit back into the original meal ingredients.

I think I may have turned it inside out at some point in the de-tangling process as it now walks up stairs!

If you want a slinky that doesn't tangle, get a tumble dryer hose. I bought one for a air hockey table build I was doing. Left it on the stairs for weeks. Everytime I knocked it, it walked down perfectly!
