Default how do you get armature off petrol engined generator?

I'm trying to fit new piston rings in my Honda genny gx140. I can't figure out how to get the armature off the crank. I've got the outer body off and the bearing off end but am now stuck. Any ideas?

Hiya, sorry for slow response. Got it off with a bit of pressure from a hydraulic puller and a tap with hammer. It's on a taper with a long stud holding whole thing on. I got told by hire shop to get a Honda as you can replace every part in them cheaply if diy. The crankcase and cylinder are one piece with the genny end cover coming off to give access to big end etc. A complete casing isn't that dear. I'm just going to hone bore and put rings in as rest of it looks like new. Piccy won't upload for some reason flymo. How's the monster doing by the way?

It's going great, no problems since Except for me tipping it off its side stand.... oops. New clutch lever and some gentle straightening of the gear change and its as good as new. Might strip and service the forks over the winter.
