K4 For Sale - Cat c (needs front wheel and somebody work)

Hi,

So I was recently knocked off the bike by a car (sorry mate windows were steamed up so I could'nt see you)..... its the second one this year and has at least for now put me off getting back on the bike. As such my much loved Sv is going up for sale. As per the title the bike has been Cat C'd, it needs the following:

Windshield

Front brake fluid resevior (still has fluid in and brakes are fine however the mount to the handlebar has snapped)

Gear change lever

Front wheel (hit a curb so has a few scrapes and dents, make your own judgment but If i were keeping it id want a new wheel!)

Nose cone (Has snapped where one of the windshield mounting points attaches.)

Crash bung (lhs, still on but worn considerably)

The fairing lowers are still attached although have obviously got a few scrapes etc, you could either replace them, make it naked or live with it as a tatty commuter etc!)

ok,, good bits;

single seat cowl
rear hugger
ermax undertray
chain and sprockets have approx 1000 mile on them, receipts available.
Both tyres good.
Brake pads have about 5000 on them front and rear.
Radiator is from a 4000mile bike, looks brand new and was reaplced about 6month ago so coolant is also pretty fresh!
Oil and filter changed every 3.5k.

The bike does have approx 30,000 miles although never had a problem other than a bad regulator which was replaced recently. (theres a thread about that on here somewhere). Valve clearances were done at 25k and have stamp in dervice book to confirm.

The bike is obviously abit tatty looking in places after sliding down the road and has been stood untouched for 3weeks (since accident) although it did start right back up afterwards.

I am open to sensible offers and am not looking for silly money here although if I don't get any resonable offers I may break it for parts instead. Frankly I would rather not do this as I don't really have the time nor motivation so grab yourself a bargain! Im looking for around £800 if anyone is interested?

The bike is in Croydon. Full V5, 2 keys, 10months mot although insurance may require you re-mot it before going back on the road.

The bike could potentially be ridden away if it was'nt for the gear lever but as I said I would be looking at also replacing the wheel so perhaps a trailor/van would be your better option

ps. as per messages below apparently this colour means its a k3? it is on an 04 plate and when I bought it the dealers add said k4? I have the full log book anyway and feel free to do any checks you wish.

As per forum rules, please put down a price as a guidance for you sensible offers.

The other thing to point out is that if this bike is copper coloured it'll be a K3, not a k4

This is still for sale, guess I've asked for too much as not had much serious interest, how about £650.

More pics or details etc available on request. I've also got the engineers report to confirm damage etc.

I'll give it another week on here then stick it on eBay or break it for bits.
