Default Curvy value?

hi fella's.got my eye on an '01 curvy.it has done around 9,000 miles and is in great nick as you would expect.it is for sale in a dealers and is up for £1,995.seems a bit steep to me even allowing for trade price.whats your fellings about the price and could you give me any specific sv related issues to look out for bar the obvious.

thanks.

Probably about right for a dealer

Cheaper to buy private, plenty of decent curvies out there

I paid £1800 for my 2000 curvy with 4000miles on it 4 years ago privately, but i've seen them at dealers for about the £2000 mark recently

thanks fellas.not much wiggle room on the price then.here's a link to the bike.

nip up there next week and see if he will move on the price.have a chance to buy an excellent low mileage transalp for £1550 but would much prefer the SV.prefer light weight and a torquey engine because i always ride back-roads on trips and avoid main roads.

Treat £1995 as the start the negotiation price. Make the dealer an offer after viewing, you never know.

You could buy something like that privately at this time of year for half that money,or you could buy a much newer one for the same money. In my opinion.

Yes, like this one which has just sold, slightly higher mileage, but a younger bike

Only £1700, good price IMO
