What sort of riding do you do - street, track, commuting? What is your weight? What is your budget? From the standpoint of cost, the GSXR & ZX range are good aftermarket replacements. New and Used cost far less than a Penske, Nitron, Elka, Ohlins etc. But these (P, N, E, O) can be built specifically for your weight and riding style hence the far more expensive cost. To put this into perspective, I got a ZX6r shock for £45 second hand that did not need rebuilding (so went straight in) and is generally right for my weight. I personally would not go for PNEO unless I was using it on the track as the alternatives are readily available and cheaper for road riding. Edit: I didn't realise what section your post was in. My apologies. JHS (Bristol) supply Elka and Ohlins as far as I'm aware. Last edited by Runako; 01-03-13 at 08:10 PM. |
