Default Anyone use Co-pilot?

Hi All,

Anyone use co-pilot on the bike? any idea why it calculates motorbike trips as quicker than car trips?

Cheers

I've used it the once, too sunny to see directions on a tankbag so plugged the earphones in to listen to the irritating lady. Not a fan of Satnavs at the best of times but it's good to know it's there in an emergency. I hadn't realised there was a difference between the route calculations for bikes and cars, interesting! I guess it would be for the same reason Blueperson gives, or something to do with less weight, reaching speed quicker yadda yadda.

Like getting lost on a rideout and using it to take us on every back road it can find and still reaching the destination at the same time as the rest?

"Car" and "Motorbike" can have different settings, this includes but is not limited to what speed they are estimated to travel at on various types of roads and also the priority given to the type of road. I've changed all the settings on mine (Version 9 on Android) but it's possible that by default they're setup differently resulting in the calculation difference.

It did take us down some pretty daffodil filled lanes... Would never find same route again though! Glad it wasn't me at the front...
